I Survived Prolon and So Can You!

Today is a glorious day! I woke up able to eat whatever the fuck I want after successfully completing my 5 day Prolon fasting mimicking diet and the beauty of it all is, I actually just want another Prolon nutbar! I settled for an Aloha protein bar with my coffee this morning and interestingly, I’m never hungry the day after breaking a Prolon fast. I’m not sure if that’s more of a mental thing, but I do believe Prolon really helps reset your cravings and “food noise” just as effectively as the GLP1s do.

If you have been too busy to think about your meals and are just gobbling down whatever is in front of you, here’s a pro tip: drink your meals. This is one of the reasons I also love Prolon: everything is ready to eat and I can just pour it in a glass and drink my soup wherever, even while I’m pumping ass (no, my work does not affect my appetite). Just make sure you taste and enjoy your food before swallowing to avoid unnecessary gas and bloat. Chewing not only physically breaks down food, but bacteria and enzymes in your mouth chemically break down food to begin digestion. Bypassing this critical step forces the bacteria in the gut to work harder, thus creating more methane and hydrogen as a biproduct, expanding the gut. Chewing, or simply tasting your liquid rather than inhaling it will help you poop like a champ. For clients experience chronic constipation, my diet of choice is always a baby food-like diet. Babies just eat pureed veggies and shit all the live long day. So when someone tells you to quit being a baby tell them to fuck right off.

When I’m slammed at work, I can quickly throw back lunch in my mug in between clients. Sometimes I heat it up in the morning, but yesterday I poured my ready-to-eat Prolon soup in my favorite mug and drank it gazpacho-style.
